Meet Khayri Herron

Music has the power to change lives.

For nearly a decade, Khayri Herron has dedicated his career to helping students build confidence, discipline, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music. Whether teaching a child's very first piano lesson, preparing a worship team for Sunday morning, directing a school musical, or coaching an advanced student for a live performance, his mission has always remained the same—to inspire excellence while making music meaningful and enjoyable.

Since beginning private instruction in 2017, Khayri has taught hundreds of private lessons to students ranging from young beginners to adult musicians. His teaching philosophy combines strong musical fundamentals with encouragement, patience, and individualized instruction so every student can grow at their own pace while developing a genuine love for music.

Today, Khayri is proud to serve as the founder and lead instructor of K G School of Music, one of Palm Coast's growing private music studios, providing high-quality instruction in piano, voice, guitar, drums, ukulele, and music fundamentals for students throughout Palm Coast, St. Augustine, and the surrounding communities.

Khayri's experience extends far beyond the private lesson studio.

Teaching in these diverse educational environments has allowed him to work with students of every ability level while developing engaging lessons in music literacy, singing, rhythm, classroom instruments, performance, and ensemble musicianship.

In addition to classroom teaching, Khayri has instructed students through nationally recognized music education organizations including Planet E Studios and Taylor Robinson Music School, further expanding his experience working with students from a wide variety of musical backgrounds, learning styles, and personal goals.

Worship Leadership & Church Music

Music has also been a central part of Khayri's ministry.

For many years, he has served churches throughout Palm Coast and St. Augustine as a worship leader, instrumentalist, choir director, and music ministry leader. His experience includes leading worship teams, directing church choirs, training volunteer musicians, accompanying congregational worship, and organizing special musical presentations at Christian Life Center and other churches throughout the region.

His ministry experience has given him a unique perspective on preparing musicians not only for performance but also for confident, meaningful leadership through music.

Director of Performances & Musicals

Some of Khayri's greatest joys come from watching students perform with confidence.

Throughout his career, he has directed school concerts, theatrical productions, children's musicals, worship presentations, talent showcases, choir performances, and other live events. From rehearsals to opening night, he enjoys helping students overcome stage fright, work as a team, and experience the excitement of sharing their musical accomplishments with family and community.

These experiences continue to shape his teaching by preparing students not only to play an instrument but also to become confident performers.
